Explore Art
My artistic journey is an authentic exploration of nature and self-expression. In my photography, I am captivated by the intricate beauty of floral macro photography, where I discover the strength and vulnerability present in each bloom—a reflection of the human experience. My photographs showcase fine details and vivid colors, driven by an intimate connection with nature that compels me to capture these fleeting, delicate moments.
In contrast, my abstract art embraces spontaneity and intuition. I revel in the freedom to create without constraints, using techniques like mark making and scumbling to guide my process. I have yet to commit to a definitive style, and perhaps that is my signature—each piece is an evolving journey, layered with discovery until the composition feels complete. Whether working in traditional media or digital platforms such as Fresco and Procreate, my abstract works often feature complementary colors, dynamic markings, and expressive scratches.
My subject matter reflects my continuous exploration of self and technique. Painting, for me, is a challenge to grow and to engage with the medium courageously. Abstract imagery offers a space where it is just me and the canvas, giving me the freedom to create anything that my imagination conjures.
What draws me to a particular scene is my fascination with complementary colors and geometric forms. The act of mark making, scratching, and scumbling allows me to connect deeply with the texture and process of each work.
Inspiration comes from the harmony and tension that coexist in art. Creating offers me a sense of power and freedom—it is my playtime, my therapeutic escape where life’s stresses fade away. I draw heavily on the legacies of art history, particularly from pioneers like Kandinsky, Rothko, Frankenthaler, Klint, and Twombly, whose work continues to guide and inspire me.
My technique stands at the intersection of the controlled precision of photography and the untamed energy of studio art. While my photographic work is meticulously curated, my studio practice thrives on spontaneity, with primitive marks and layers of color leading the way. I work across various media, including digital art through Fresco, Photoshop, Procreate, and Lightroom, as well as traditional materials like watercolor and ink on paper, and I love painting on canvas, linen, wood, and cardboard for my studies.
Additionally, I offer art curation services, assisting corporate clients in selecting pieces that resonate with their vision. I also believe in encouraging hidden artists to realize their potential. If I can navigate this creative journey—with its triumphs and missteps—so can you. There’s room for everyone in the world of art; we all have the freedom to grow, change direction, and create whatever we envision, whenever and wherever we choose.
